Although you can upgrade Windows 9x and Windows NT Workstation to Windows 2000 Professional, you'll have better results if you start fresh. I like XP but it can be tough to fix sometimes. And just to confirm, you can boot off the Win7 dvd correct? Thanks a lot. Have done this many times for hard drives that have a ‘bad spot' that didn't allow it to be recognized on boot-up.
