The desktop icons did not display, though, which is likely due to Explorer supposedly being closed (I'm sure once I click OK on that dialog it will vanish, but I should I had just deleted a bunch of malwares from my computer, and restarted it. Can't I just find the infected file, delete it, and then re-establish my explorer.exe file at re-boot from the install disk or the Internet?
