But the PS4 and Xbox One can do it. Crysis 3 still drops below 60fps in some areas due to poor environment optimizations. r/games_journalism - Discussing the gaming press. Flag Permalink This was helpful (0) Collapse - while it may be favored, it's a tough sale.
Both nvidia and AMD appear to have left sub-4Gb GPU cards behind (AMD has been headed this way for a while, but as they knew what would be in the new I apologize for the /r/pcmasterrace link, but this page is non-circlejerky. permalinkembedsavegive gold[–]Carr0t 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago(0 children)I'm expecting someone to jump in and correct me any second now but: Both the XBox One and the PS4 have 8 CPU cores semichaud1Oct 4, 2013, 11:56 AM swifty_morgan said: For an example take Assassin's Creed Revelation recommended system requirements:AMD CPU: Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6000+ (2 cores, 3.1 GHz each core, total this page
Some games are just poorly optimized period. Do you have any tips for gamers who need a new television? Console publishers have been sacrificing damn near everything in order to keep the graphics as high as they can... Reviews will be crucial to making your decision because judging input lag in-store usually isn’t possible.

It's poly counts, physics calculations, lighting calculations etc where modern PC GPUs knock the console ones out the park. Hence again the problem is not my system but the game.
no more and no less. what software did that one have that this one has? core for core the intel wins. That generation of AMD CPU's are pretty bad for gaming TBH. Thanks. Intel / nVidia instead of budget AMD like I tend towards. after the machine reboots.
Admittedly, it was pretty awesome when I visited Poland as an American... Not so much! but when advancing in the game this often drops to 20 fps because of the heavy scenes... This gen, the new consoles are outdated out of the box on day 1, and devs have been artificially increasing requirements to make the consoles not look as bad. It's like saying that their game is so sophisticated, only the best machines can handle the technical demands. So when The Evil Within recommends 4gb of VRAM, they're either wrong (over-estimating how much is needed, or looking at dual-GPU cards and writing down total VRAM instead of effective) OR
It makes no sense. More so now than the past, but you need not worry.I will say though, that vram is crucial for some games. I forgot to mention that Amnesia a Machine for Pigs also stutters like crazy and I don't think that should be happening with a HD 7870 and FX-6100 6 core CPU. Similar when you do DDS compression, i've never noticed any quality change from no compression or high compression.
Yeah I tried that already. Let's be honest, they could have made Assassin's Creed Unity and the latest CoD on the old engines and had similar requirements. Check out the /r/truegaming Guide.
I can't think of any reason when a console is a better choice permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]LawL4Ever 0 points1 point2 points 2 years ago(4 children)There are reasons. There are a lot of considerations for why somebody might like consoles more than playing on PC, it's not cut and dry, and I don't see why everybody feels the need turn them off or to lowest possible settings. Everything else is no reason at all, you can still have your Facebook machine laptop and just buy a pc instead of a console permalinkembedsaveparentgive goldcontinue this thread[–]QQuixotic_ 1 point2 points3 points 2
I even get stuttering in arkham asylum using HD 7870. Watch Dogs still stutters like crazy with Ultra textures regardless if you have enough VRAM or not. I paid the same amount for a pair of R9 280X's for more than an American can get a fucking 4Gb GTX980 at. as what was a smallish amount of money here would go a lot farther there.
Thanks again. The issue could be either a badly optimized game or badly optimized drivers, or some incompatibility between drivers and the game. Those crazy minimum reqs, however, baffle meDont be baffled, look at all the recent games asking for 3-4gb of vram or i7's, when in fact its not needed or does not For web development 2 browsers would be the bare minimum as you're often previewing changes in the browser and writing code at the same time.

I for one.. This was my initial thought as well. Just terrible. This is a concern for gamers because most games have a head-up display which remains fixed on-screen.
solved Why is my pc faster in gaming than my dad's pc?If he has better specs Why is my Xbox one controller lagging/slowing down games when using on PC?
