The computer is supposed to send the SSD a signal "standby_immediate" to prevent that, but Windows 10 appears to not send that signal as often as it should. From there,I tried to recover Windows but it said "drive is locked"...so I searched on the web and found your topic here. Fortunately, I looked at an old computer repair book and it advised using the chkdsk /f command at the command prompt, which is available from the trouble shooting screen. Chkdsk Cannot write as disk is locked: bootrec - cannot do anything as the disk is still locked.
