Patrick's Day, our friends over at AhJaysus.com asked us to put together this little edit of some the worst on-screen Irish accents ever. The entire consumer movement has been hijacked in gaming by people who think devs have to cater to their every need. The problem is that this is gaming, where "fraudulent product" means "I didn't like this game" or "DAY ONE DLC WTF?" and the standard response is to chargeback.

As regards the cash ins, well they put the system requirements down. I regularly cite how JA2 had a money bug on Steam that Strategy First took years to resolve. For example, the application works great from Monday to Friday and them becomes lazy and refuses to work on weekends. That might be the EA/Origin model (I hear they started offering refunds of some form). Wen I buy a Steam game, I get taxed with the IVA, the european tax. So best-case scenario: User's fault (well, maybe not for SH4, but let's ignore that :p).
The game is unfinished and it ends apruptly with a black screen and some white text. Steam sometimes imports the original release date, and sometimes it doesn't. Because it's usually the latter. SotS they offered refunds and offered all DLC content free.
Everything else is a "You need to fight tooth and nail" dealy. I had enormous problems for years with Silent Hunter 4 on Steam, went 30 rounds with support, and never got so much as an apology, let alone a refund.
It seems that they had about 4-5 hours of gameplay built to demo and tried the Kickstarter route but failed badly. Windows PE does not support the Microsoft .NET Framework or the Common Language Runtime (CLR). That is what they did for mine. If it is, why is Daikatana on there?
