I'd love to see something with DDR3 though. More CPU Fan assembles & disassembles Notices ner. It's personal preference how you want the core voltage to fluctuate. and is it normal for such a thing to happen ?

If you have the ability to enable Loadline Calibration on your Mobo, you can get rid of that. For what it's worth, this is pretty much what I did. Have you found a real difference between the Asus P5E-VW HDMI and the P5K-VM in terms of over clocking and compatibility? What it is reported in the OS under VCore is the actual CPU Voltage in real time. It changes speeds/multis/volts as you'd expect, fans change accordingly using PWM set in the BIOS. So It wasnt' the memory module issue.
