Any plastic-enclosed hard drive with no/poor ventilation is just asking for trouble...under heavy use, the drive will heat up and there'll be no place for the heat to go. Obviously I would never let my hard drive get so full where I need to delete 700MB, but it's just annoying that they do this. Enter won't work :( I found out there was an app for a WD remote and got that but it won't pick up my player. So, I decided to return it and go for a Firewire solution due to the speed advantages.

and has anyone heard about Iomega hd's? Don't get me wrong, I think externals are a great BACKUP OPTION, but IMO, internals are the best way to go. I copied all of my music onto the drive and loaded up ITCH.
