Back To Hardware Acer Aspire 1690 Laptop Intermittent Problem (Weird) sphdgs Born Posts: 1 3+ Months Ago I have an Aspire 1690 but the darn thing freezes on me every few I am in the process of trying to repair this 5100, but the bios does not see the drive. It was working well until on day the acer screen would come up then a black screen. That would work if the keyboard worked but thus far it hasnt.
I'm not saying that this is the only FIX, but in my case it worked.
