I was able to fix one of them by doing a registry restore using the Ultimate Boot CD. Very important. >I am very surprised that the Memtest hung...I can't remember the last time that happened. The workaround I figured out was to pop in a game cd that autoruns and shortcut from there to begin the game, changing display modes, and the display responds. I did this with the Registry Restore Wizard, a utility on the Ultimate Boot CD.
